Louise received her joint MEng in Advanced Robotics from Ecole Centrale de Nantes and Warsaw University of Technology in 2013. Her research focused on real-time whole-body human motion imitation by humanoid robots, under the supervision of Prof. Sophie Sakka. Before that, Louise received her BS in Electromechanical Engineering from Chiba University in 2011, where she did research on smart materials. Louise started collaborating with OSRF in 2013 as an intern through GNOME’s FOSS Outreach Program for Women, when she worked on a mobile web client for Gazebo. Since then, she has been working on GUI tools for Gazebo.
